This article will sought to affirm the expression ' Two heads are better than one'. The role of different talents and how they brings innovation towards organizational success.
Cross cultural background is a very fertile and conducive climate for sparking new ideas. The purpose of brainstorming encourages generation of many creative new ideas as possible about a particular concept, issue, problem with a maximum flow of free quantitative information than qualitative ideas.
Studies have shown that diversity is a good way to create innovation. The different skills, expertise and opinions foster a culture of dialogue and creativity. This stimulates innovation within organizations. It would also be necessary to dig deeper on the side of learning organizations.

In regards to Mr Aboiron in which he says " Studies have shown that diversity is a good way to create innovation, beyond triggering/sparking** new innovation ideas. The different skills, expertise and opinions foster a culture of dialogue and creativity. This stimulates innovation within organizations ", I tend to agree. But I have to point out that skills, expertise and opinions do not ipso facto "foster a culture of dialogue and creativity". They must be harnessed, led and then deployed often under difficult circumstances. Having worked in the real, practical world, with engineers and managing them, I can say managing engineers is not easy -- each has an inflated opinion of himself (or herself) and tends to think he/she knows better than the other fellow. So, a good or able manager who recognizes this attribute of many engineers will need to bring "people management" skills; he would need to convince his engineers and others as well.
That said Mr Aboiron does acknowledge the importance managing diversity... but much more is needed viz., leadership and exhibiting team-player skills can make a huge difference to the rapid realization of an innovative idea. Add to that a healthy dose of luck!
** sparking new ideas is the easy thing... just think of brain-storming exercises, or brain-writing exercises; moving from the idea to the product or process innovation is far more difficult with lots of obstacles to cross along the long and winding road...
