could you please suggest a book describing statistical hypothesis tests?
Basically, I am looking for a book which describes all the tests you can use to verify an hypothesis (e.g. normality in a sample, etc.) and the pros and cons for each test.

I would suggest: R.R. Pagano, Understanding Statistics in the Behavioral Sciences, Cengage Learning, 2008. It is very useful especially while dealing with human behaviours statistics.
