What are the differences between Book Chapters and Research Papers?
I mean from author point of view, What are the major differences I shall consider?
What makes a Book Chapter a good one? Hopefully I will get answers compared to research papers.

MIXED REVIEW: David Gordon, a science writer and biologist, calls chapter writing "a wonderful and awful experience." Scientists are, by necessity, writers. Academic scientists write exams, grant applications, and research papers; their industrial counterparts compose company reports and patent applications. Chapter writing offers a breather from these higher-pressure literary demands, whether it is for a published version of a symposium talk, a chapter for a textbook, or an analysis of a spec.

I can mention a few distinguishing factors.
A journal paper is typically not invited, while book chapters quite often are (but not always). The latter is then often a chapter based on a talk at a small conference, in which the editors have decided to create a book based on accepted chapters.
A book chapter is typically not as prestigious as a peer-reviewed paper in an international scientific journal. The reason typically is that the papers either are invited (as I just mentioned), or they are not peer-reviewed - or at least not as thorough.
Book chapters are in book,, research article in journal. For book chapter I find very important to be consistent with other chspters, usually written by different authors.
