Antibacterial action generally falls within one of four mechanisms, three of which involve the inhibition or regulation of enzymes involved in cell wall biosynthesis, nucleic acid metabolism and repair, or protein synthesis, respectively. The fourth mechanism involves the disruption of membrane structure.
Why do you think that won't work? Did you try it? What about lactoferrin, a protein sythethized by fagocytes ti inhibit bacterial nutrition?
Yes, it is worth trying. The problem is that the act of killing or inhibiting the bacteria does not break the bond between the surface groups bound to the antibody and regenerating the immunosensor. I think this may be best using electric impulses like in this patent:

Dear Maria,
in our experience using bacteria as analyte, we often observed that classical solution used for the regeneration of biochemical based biosensor (for example low or high pH or high ionic strength) are often efficient for the regeneration of bacterial based system as well.
To give you an example, in the attached article we wanted to study bacteria-lectins interaction. After regeneration scouting we found out that 10mM Glycine pH 2.5 was efficient in removing the bacteria bound on the lectins on the sensor surface.
