Biodiesel Production of Waste Cooking Oil using Mango Peeling Ash Catalyst?

I'm doing an experiment about biodiesel synthesis of waste cooking oil using a heterogeneous base catalyst. I need first to identify the acid value of the waste cooking oil in order to proceed with the transesterification process using titration method. Should I use the catalyst (mango peel ash) in the titration solution or i can use the common KOH that is being used in determining the acid value?
