Actually, I prefer PTFE filters, which are very resistant and have low binding, although, depending on the process, they may release traces of fluorine as seen by XPS. Nylon is also a very good filter material. I usually avoid cellulose for nanomaterial applications since it has generally limited chemical compatibility and displays high binding.
