Best way to compare characteristics of residents living in 2 different census tracts?

I would like to compare the general characteristics of individuals living in two different census tracts (e.g., compare proportion of people aged 15 to 19 years between the 2 census tracts). Because this is census data, is it okay to use traditional statistical tests? Is there a better way to approach this?

Hi, I think you can use traditional tests, yes, such as a t-test for two different samples, because even though it is a census, each part is a sample, as it is not the entire population of the country, for example
