Additionally, it is important to consider the language in which you seek this literature. For those new to the field, one of the most comprehensive introductory texts in English is Colin Flint's Introduction to Geopolitics

Thank you, Professor Flores Rojas! Colin Flint's book is among the most important in my list. My purpose is to give students materials for seminars. Since I envisage both general topics and specific "dimensions" of the world situation (energy included), I collect everything. :) As to language, my course is in English.

"The Grand Chessboard" by Zbigniew Brzezinski is personally one of the best books on geopolitics.

Peter Frankopan's "The Silk Road: the New History of the World", is another good read for geopolitics.

Also "Why Nations Fail" is a masterpiece, if you're interested in Geo-economics.

Dhanyavaad, Dr Saini! I have certainly included Z. Brzezinski's magnum opus (as well as his "Strategic Vision") in the list for students' reading. The views of global destabilizers need to be widely known. Silk Road and geo-economics are also welcome. :)
