Am not so sure if it will help you but might want to look at the works of Bonnke, Reinhard Willi Gottfried (1940). He is a German international evangelist and he ministered in some African countries.

My professor in Islamic Studies taught "us" ...if you want to know... Islam.... You have to Be Muslim!!!
So, each research student had to attend Fridays Prayer 🙏 at the North Philadelphia Islamic Center.
If "we" just wanted a theoretical understanding...than just read books, journals and research papers on Islam....or as the professor put it "Be a Parrot.!
