What are the best practices for cleaning and preprocessing data in Jamovi, including handling missing values, creating new variables, and recoding or transforming existing variables?

1. Missing Values: Use ‘Exclude cases listwise’ in analysis options to handle missing data.

2. New Variables: Create them in the "Data" tab by clicking ‘Compute.

3. Recoding Variables: Use the "Transform" option under the "Data" tab.

4. Transforming Variables: For mathematical transformations, use the "Compute" option.

5. Data Cleaning: Check for errors visually using plots or by manual inspection.
