First, I am a complete novice to niosomes.
I imagine that the absolute best way to incorporate an active pharmaceutical is to have it present during niosome formation. I am left with the following question: what is the most effective way to incorporate an active pharmaceutical in a system in which the niosomes have already been formed (an aqueous cream for instance)? My instinct is to use high sheer mixers. What do you think community?
Can anyone recommend a good and succinct text on the topic?

They are structurally similar to liposomes in having a bilayer, however, the materials used to prepare niosomes make them more stable.
I think the best method can be dehydration and re hydration.
