I would recommend TeXworks. Another editor is TeXnicCenter, but TeXworks is better.

I've used almost every latex editor. In my opinion, VScode is the best. But if you want to use after install it directly, I recommend TeXstudio or Texworks, because VScode would takes time to configure.
