Hellon scientific community. What basically an avirulent strain of PstDC3000 do when is injected in tomato plant. What i understand is it triggers systemic acquired resistance, hypersensitive response.
Pst DC3000 is basically hemi biotrophic pathogen, i.e., it first act as biotroph and then later shift it lifestyle as necrotrophic pathogen.
what i wounder is, when a plant is pre inoculated with avirulent strain of Pst and then after few days is inoculated with virulent biotrophic pathogen, what should be the bacterial growth, and behaviour of PR genes/ systemic acquired resistance genes as compared to control plant (i.e., were pre inoculated with H20, or MgSO4, and then after few days inoculated with virulent biotrophic pathogen)
and similarly when tomato plant is pre inoculated with avirulent strain of Pst and then is inoculated with virulent biotrophic pathogen what will be bacterial growth, and behaviour of PR genes/ systemic acquired resistance genes as compared to control plant (i.e., were pre inoculated with H20, or MgSO4, and then after few days inoculated with virulent necrotrophic pathogen).
