Based on Von Misses criterion, for homogeneous or uniform plastic deformation, we need 5 independent plastic deformation mechanisms?

Hello all Materials and Mechanics Scientists,

For a homogenous plastic deformation, we need to have 5 independent plastic deformation mechanisms based on Von Misses criterion.

Why it would be 5 ?

Why FCC and BCC crystal structures can provide 5 mechanisms, and why HCP crystal structure cannot provide that?
