i have butanol as a solvent and reagent, and water is the byproduct of the reaction which should be removed, one article mentions "azeotropic removal" of water, does this mean i can use a dean stark trap? if not what is an easy way of removing the water? i can apply vaccum, but i was looking for something simple. (i don't know if drying agents react with my reagents/products, so i prefer not to use them.)

thanks in advance
