Hi,
i use trace file with old format and i think there is not a field of radio index.
i need awk file that give me like this:
format
0.010000 2 4 busy
0.010000 2 5 busy
0.020000 2 4 busy
0.020000 2 5 idle
0.030000 2 4 idle
who have an example of such file or have idea how to do this.

To answer your question it is necessary to know which fields are available in the file before processing, and what you need to get after. Then the problem becomes trivial.
