I installed the CRCN patch on ns2.31.
when i try to get the throughput results like the link below, about maccon protocol (test4maccon.tcl+topo4.tcl) i get the same result in the link.
but it is not the case for macng, when i try Macng (test4macng.tcl+topo4.tcl) my result are diffrent to results offered in this link.
Other thing: with the macng protocol, throughput don't change with diffrent number of channel ( with 1, 2, 3 and 4 channels: throuput is the same). Throughput change only when channel=5 (with 6 channel i get the same result as 5 channel).

I did not try and go through the links provided but from my experience with the simulator I think this is due to the number of network nodes taken by you. Some time if you will simulate with small scale network then the results are same with different parameters also as the same you are experiencing in your case. Even you will change no of channels your are getting the same results because the impact of number of channels is negligible with the network setting adapted by you. Simulate the script with little larger size network then you will definitely get the difference in throughput performance after changing the number of channels.

a simple AWK script is needed for this. AWK is very simple you can lean in one hour following any tutorial.
i did not understand which is the field of the radio index in trace file. i use the old format of the trace file, and this format don't contain this field.
