But I mean voltage transient response at load change in DCM mode. In voltage controller mode, when load current increase, output voltage decrease, then controller increase duty cycle. But in average current controller, when load current increase, then inductor current increase so inner current controller try to decrase duty cycle until outer voltage controller compensate inner loop current reference.

I think that average current controller conserve inductor current and prevent overcurrent on circuit. But seems that it does not have any advantage on load transient response especially in DCM mode

In my though, average controller does not advantage to quick output voltage stabilization
