Hi - I have just started using Kubios for HRV analysis and I'm wondering if there is a way to automatically separate the data into different samples (conditions) before loading it into Kubios. Currently, I'm using the sliding windows to create the different samples. Is there a specific way to structure the data so that upon loading the different samples can be automatically detected. Currently we have time (s) and ECG (mV) as separate columns (we do something like this in Ledalab for the analysis of EDA). Is it possible to add an additional column singling the different samples? If not, what is the best way to do this without the sliding windows?

Well, our group do it in the gross way. We analyze in different moments, and then put altogether in a excel table. I think there's something in Kubios that lets you add another data setting, but it don't analyze separately, instead he mixes both signals.
As you know you need to provide Kubios with a file of interbeat intervals, say 10 min of data to get both LF and HF values. Not difficult to provide files as needed, one at a time. No idea what you mean by mixing signals.

If you now the exact time separating two samples you can use the time specification in left menu, somehow similar to sliding windows but more precise. You can then separate samples by adding sample option but you must now the time and the precision is in second not millisecond.
