Why don't we scientists come up with a new message? A new vision and mission. Especially in Western countries (including Israel) and Russia, leaders have risen who despise scientific facts. These leaders love fabricated stories and lies. This is how they destabilise our world.

Can we, as scientists, create stories that appeal to citizens? Stories based on hard facts (not correlations). Hard facts come from longitudinal and experimental research. In designing stories, we can draw on the lessons of Salman Rushdie, who suggests that the best stories are based on fiction.

Any other solution is more than welcome. A scientist who is able to reach the general public with his/her facts is more than welcome to rule this blog.
