I am looking for options of GEE JavaScript code to perform atmospheric correction of Landsat 7-8 and Sentinel-2 directly within the GEE Code Editor.
I intend to use harmonized Landsat 7-8 and Sentinel-2 bottom of atmosphere (BOA) reflectance data across some locations in Brazil during 2017-2018. While Landsat 7-8 BOA data are readily available in GEE (at least for my region and date), Sentinel-2 BOA data are not always available in GEE (yet), depending on the region and date. Therefore, I may need to apply my own atmospheric correction on the Sentinel-2 TOA data - preferably within the GEE Code Editor in order to perform as many processes as possible inside GEE.
To improve harmonization among the different satellite data, the same atmospheric correction method could be applied to Landsat 7-8 TOA data as well.
In summary, it would be great to apply the same atmospheric correction method on Landsat 7-8 and Sentinel-2 data directly within the GEE Code Editor.

NASA's HLS is mostly available for the North America region so far. Since my study area is in Brazil, I may need to produce my own HLS.
Besides, the NASA's HLS product doesn't seem available in GEE.
Recently HLS production has been extended almost worldwide: https://lcluc.umd.edu/announcements/global-harmonized-landsatsentinel-2-hls-data-products-being-released
Not sure if will process also past data, but maybe could help you.

I tried the SamMurphy's docker-based approach. Although robust, the atmospheric correction is done outside the GEE code editor, via Docker which needs to be installed in the user personal computer. Besides, the user has to save and store the corrected (BOA) data somewhere, which might be a problem for large data sets.
The ideal solution for me would be to apply the atmospheric correction via the GEE code editor.

In some preliminary tests, the results (BOA) seem consistent but please note that the method was originally written in python and it is still being tested/validate within GEE JavaScript. Users may apply it with care.

Thanks for the GEE codes, it works really well. Just to make sure, did you rescale the max and min values of the BoA image by dividing them with 10,000? Because for ToA image, max and min values were 2000 and 200, respectively.
