This might be a silly question, but I really need to know its answer. I have tested my sample at 1275 degree for 12 hours. When I checked the sample on XRD there were lot of TiN peaks. Can anybody tell me, at which temperature the intensity of TiN peaks will be lower? As I have mentioned that at 1275 it didn't reacts with the other elements.
Try to perform DTA/DSC analysis on your TiN samples and find out when it dissociates. It will give you a rough idea about how much temperature your material can sustain

you need to know the melting point of the raw elements befor your sintring process, after that you will alcine you material gradually to any temperature that can react your sample.
Thank you for your answer. Yousef A. Alsabah, Actually I have mixed several raw materials for sintering. I have sintered it at various temperatures but when I analyze it on XRD. It always shows TiN peaks with higher intensities. Which clearly shows that TiN didn't react. So what should be the temperature for TiN to reacts?
