Am kinda new and still learning SPSS
I want to know what kind of tests should I run for AST results I see lots of paper use chi square. And can anyone provide me with example for inputting data for any suggested test please guys I really need help

On the basis of the AST level, categorise ur data i.e. high, normal, below
Then if u have gender as demographic variable, apply chi-square using SPSS which will reveal whether there is any association between gender and AST level and so on.

For any suggested test, the data to be used in SPSS can either be computed directly or imported into SPSS.
To carry out any test, go to ANALYZE and a drop down menu would appear, select the appropriate statistical test you desire to run and the rest is easy.
