I got a comment from anonymous reviewer: - As branches are assumed to be independent and identically distributed (iid), maximum ratio combining (MRC) shows no difference with EGC in this paper. Due to the assumption of independent and identically distributed branches, MRC is, in essence. the  EGC. So it is suggested to use the EGC in the paper or reconsider the assumption.

Title of my paper is, "Performance Evolution of ED-based spectrum sensing in CR over Nakagami-m/shadowed fading channel with MRC reception".

Try to help me out that what assumption should i consider so that i can use MRC. Its Urgent.
