Thanks a lot for your query. This is not an on-going project. It has been completed before 10 years. Researchgate asked me to which project our 2 published articles with respect to water quality belong? I replied that they belong to a project titled “Assessment of water resources quality and management strategies of livestock drinking water resources in Ginchi watershed area, West Shewa Zone, Oromia, Ethiopia”. Therefore, the title “Assessment of water resource quality” posted by the Researchgate was by mistake. So, the purpose was to look for physico-chemical and bacteriological quality of livestock drinking water resources in the dry, long and short rainy seasons in Ginchi watershed.

We hope the findings of the study could serve to know the quality of water for irrigation and drinking. As you may know, the same water source could be used for all purposes in rural areas of Ethiopia. The project was undertaken as a partial fulfillment of my MSc study under ILRI fellowship.
