I think, it is better to use ICP-MS rather than ICP-OES to calculate the concentration of nano-particles as sometimes the concentration is very low ( less than 1ppb level), that you will be able to measure by ICP-MS but untraceable by ICP-OES.
After you prepare your samples, wash them through series of centrifugation and resuspension. you must have the initial concentration of silver that have been used for sample preparation then go to ICP. Of course ICP-MS is better than ICP-OES but the silver ion concentration is high enough that you can managed by simple mass spectroscopy. rest is easy just a simple calculation.
