02 December 2019 2 616 Report

I submitted our article to a journal, after the peer-review round, they asked for a publishing fee along with a gallery proof file of the submitted article. Politely, I promptly responded that I do not have a financial allocation for my project and we asked to withdraw the submitted article. I did not receive any reply from the journal for 10 days and afterward, I sent a confirmation on my previous email that if I do not receive a reply within 48 hrs, then I will consider that the submitted article is withdrawn and I thanked them.

Unsurprisingly, I noticed that my submitted article is published by the journal without my consent and my correction on the sent gallery proof file after three weeks!

I have contacted them through responding on the emails cascade to journal but they do not respond to me to clarify what is going on.

In such this case what should I do?

Thank you in advance
