Not at all acceptable. It was very popular during olden days in Asian countries. I learned in the same school environment. Now I realized how cruel was the system. Many students dropped out due to punishment.
Violence against a child or any non violent person can only be defended by a terrorist regime. It was commonly done in the past, some times for sport, but usually in anger, mainly because it had always been done and there was no other disciplinary system in place. The result is a culture of violence, and injustice.
In some countries there is a legal obligation to show respect to persons in authority, and a list of punishments and corrective measures. In this regard freedom is earned not inherited. Disrespect still occurs, but not as often, and there is a variety of remedies for it.
On the other hand, violent offence can be answered with violence in many places where other remedies are preferred. Our societies should not pretend to be better than they are, even as they are attempting to become better. An assault on the organizations of civilization must be met with effective response. Much of the recommended response is not effective.
Treating people fairly and with respect prevents many problems. Modern society seems to be intent on pushing everyone to the breaking point, then pretending surprise when some of them break.
This is as heinous. Then why teachers? The teachers should take full responsibility of the child, once it enters the school. They should own them. It is possible to deal with an errant child. There are many ways. Teachers should show firmness , being firm at times is not being cruel!!!
Teaching job is a novel profession. We are the pullers of the society. We shouldn't bit the students. We counsel, motivate not to do indulgence in the class
Beating children in school should never happen. In the United States, any teacher who beat a child would be promptly fired. They would also probably be arrested for child abuse.
Yes, but with the aim of encouraging and intimidating the student for the purpose of following the lessons, preparing homework and classroom participation
No, I am not with beating children in schools. I consider beating children to be a severe punishment. There are many good ways to make sure a child doesn't repeat the mistake.
Nothing positive about beating a child. Many other ways to punish, if needed. A teacher could counsel a misbehaving child before getting to the point of punishment.
No way. There is nothing positive or satisfying about hitting children in schools. For me it is not worth saying that "With blows and blood, the letter and the knowledge enter the minds of schoolchildren"
De ninguna manera. No hay nada positivo ni satisfactorio al golpear a los niños en las escuelas. Para mi no vale el dicho que "Con golpes y sangre, la letra y el conocimiento entran a la mente de los escolares"
I am not the future teacher but what my perspectives is beating student in class is not a good way to treat and discipline to student. As what i discover through my study that most government are avoid teacher to beat student. Beating is not a good way to teach student to do what is needed for the school discipline.
