Md. Israt Hasan, Ali Algryani, and Tanvir Singh, thank you so much for your contribution. Md. Israt Hasan, I am facing the same issue with several papers!
I have experienced some delays over the last 6 months. In part, this was due [in my case] to the journal struggling to get access to or responses from their usual peer reviewers.
In my field of work, many peer-reviewers also work in healthcare. As we might expect, they are [probably rightly] focused on ensuring that services and systems are ready and able to deal with demands related in some way to Covid-19.
It is frustrating, especially if your potential publication / contribution might lose impact over time.
In terms of what can be done about it, that is a more challenging question!
We should be consoled by the fact that submissions will be reviewed and a decision made at some point in the coming months. Being patient and understanding might be appreciated by editorial teams at the moment, I'm sure.
The only other practical actions we might consider, include;
encouraging others or indeed to offer yourself as a peer-reviewer [if you think you might have the requisite skills and expertise].
support your peers and colleagues in the same situation
reflect and think about 'what next?' for your work/research
relax, take a break
Best wishes for your work of course, as and when it might eventually get through the elongated publication process.
