BPA is an endocrine disrupting compound having carcinogenic nature and comes in emerging contaminant. Usually its concentration is not as high but to access the effectiveness of the adsorbent some researchers use higher concentration of the contaminant.

I know that BPA is a type of EDCs which have a significant impact on human health. Most of the EDCs are ng/L in nature. However, more researches on EDCs removal simulated the solutions in mg/L. I wonder is that (study on mg/L EDCs) really help for EDCs removal (ng/L in reality)?

Dear Lei Wang as I said already, to see the highest capacity of the adsorbent we usually go for higher concentrations. But it is worth to see the minimum possible threshold concentration. You can start with the lowest possible concentration.
