There are many researches in the field of economics etc which explore knowledge management practice, km systems as economic phenomenon. What about cognitive approach to this concept? I suppose knowledge is so specific object of management that we should have many deep researches concerning problem how it's possible to rule knowledge. But in russian context we have just economic approach.

If you're interested, look into the concept of 'transfer'. It's an important topic in both cognitive and educational psychology. I can recommend the book 'Transfer of Learning' (Haskell, 2001). Many great insights!
