I'm interested in using vacuum thermal evaporation (VTE) to deposit organic small molecules onto glass substrates. I have experience evaporating fullerenes and some organic interlayers (BCP) but they have all had rather high melting points (250C by DSC) and decomposition temperatures (~400C by TGA). The materials I'm interested in trying have much lower parameters (melt at 175C, decompose at ~350C).
For those of you with more experience, what was the lowest decomposition temperature of materials that you've used? Thank you for your help!
