Many papers can be found that describe the results of static-cyclic in-plane tests on walls. These tests however are in most cases displacement-controlled. I'm looking for documentation that describe force-controlled static-cyclic testing of in-plane loaded walls. Besides, i'm looking for documentation that describe the difference in test results between these two testing methods.

Usually displacement controlled pistons are used to perform in-plane racking and quasi static-cyclic tests. If you look at EN-594 or ISO-16670, maximal displacements of walls are prescribed (100 mm) and also loading protocols are based on ultimate displacement. So the most appropriate approach is to perform displacement-controlled loading protocol.
However, in our laboratory in faculty of civil engineering (University of Maribor - SI) we use force-controlled loading protocols because of the machinery.
To receive the similar results on the same specimens with both methods (FC : DC), you should balance between the loading speed in FC method and displacement rate in DC method.
