Dear Robert Reynolds,

thanks for sharing your work related to confounding factors of the mortality of astronauts. This is often a problem in publications dealing with mortality data, e.g. in the sports medicine area there is a lack of information of the (medical) history of individuals who died at marathon races, etc.

Do you included other confounding factors like data from the family history, other ardiovascular risk factors, etc. in your analysis?

Thanks

Lars Brechtel
