A young researcher eager to publish his scientific paper, is considering whether to go ahead with submission.
He had results that are not statistically significant, making him sad; the nature of her research is such that statistically significant results would have been meaningful, he says.
Now, here are the questions: Should he send the manuscript to a journal at all despite the results which are not statistically significant? Why or why not? Are there journals that have special interest in publishing results that are not statistically significant, and if so what are they?
I would be grateful to get your responses to this questions.
Thanks very much.
