I would like to customise a fan for a ventilation application and wonder if there is literature with generic fan performance charts. Say dimensionless plots with flow/pressure coefficients and flow/efficiency coefficients for a large number of different fans with certain blade geometries that I can scale and use as an inertial design of my own fan?

I'd refer to catalogue data of a fan manufacturer. You'll find a multitude of fan characteristics to choose from. Then you can fine tune the fan curves for your application.

Of course, it would be preferable to start with a fan curve that is rather close to your application.

my experience is, however, that suppliers do not share their blade geometries and other details. I was wondering if there is experimental non-comercial data available in form of dimensionless coefficient charts that one can use to create an inertial design?
i found nothing; or, a lot of research papers...
Everybody's jealous of its blade design!
If you design it yourself, just dimension it roughly;
leave away efficiency, as it comes only after a lot of trial and error...
