I am able to image the intracellular trafficking and uptake of a variety of siRNA delivery vehicles using TEM, but have been unable to localize the point of complex dissociation. I would like to find a tag or stain specific to the siRNA that would allow me to localize it using TEM.

I currently treat h1299 and Hela cells using my delivery vehicles, fix the cell at various time points. and suspend them in an epoxy resin. After sectioning, I stain with osmium tetroxide, lead citrate, and uranyl acetate.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
