Stated by Carter & Farrell (2016), in testing the icteric interference, the addition of conjugated and unconjugated bilirubin may be used. Interference studies commonly use ditaurobilirubin as stable alternative to the monoglucuronide and diglucuronide conjugate bilirubin forms. However, there are many concerns that the ditaurobilirubin may have different interference effects with the glucuronide conjugated form. Aside from ditaurobilirubin, are there any stable alternatives that we can use, that may be capable of having the same effects to the glucuronide conjugated forms?
