If there exist certain frequencies (or sounds) that would interact with EM radiation (or frequencies) in either constructive or destructive way, then I would like to know the nature of such interactions. Such studies would have deeper implications not only on the environmental issues but also on the fundamental sciences as well.
I am aware that both of them fundamentally differ in their nature. For example, sound needs an external medium to travel whereas EM frequencies need none.
I would be happy if anyone can share their ideas and quote relevant references....

electro-acoustical engineering deals with the conversion of broadcast radio-frequencies into sounds and conversely.
As for interaction properly, in 1932, Debye and Sears have published an article on the scattering of light by supersonic waves generated in liquids (http://www.pnas.org/content/18/6/409.full.pdf). In my opinion, that article is important because the generation of ultrasounds was an early application of piezoelectric crystals, because it gave rise to the later applications of Brillouin scattering (http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/optmod/brill.html), and finally because it also explains why this experiment was performed. I am more interested in pure interactions between EM frequencies and sound frequencies rather than using some external agent for converting....
Because every music player, microphone, headset and many other electronic devices work on such conversion mechanisms.....
