I have a problem for synthesis of [Ni(NH3)6]Cl2 and I am struggling to find any literature for this substance. I know that there is a lot literature in Russian and in German language. Are there some references about [Ni(NH3)6] (II) ion also thermodynamics?
Have you seen the routine synthesis below and article for thermodynamics next here ?

Is an antique and very well known metallic complex. Obtained by reaction between nickel(II) chloride and excess of 25% comercial ammonia, (ammonium hydroxide) in aqueous solutions.
I seen the preparation, the protocol cited. I have in mind that if you had problems to crystallize it, to obtain the compound as solid.
you can precipitate it by adding 95 % ethanol ou methyl alcohol, in wich the compound is insoluble.
Follow the protocol in the PDF, i f the compound not crystalize, slow add, (without mixing or stirring) near 60 % of the volume of 95 % ethanol ou methanol.
The alcohol should be added slowly, from near the wall of the beaker, in order to not "mix".
Then lets the mixture to stand overnight...
Slowly, the ethanol will "difuse" in the aqueous solution, precipitating the compound..
This procedure is adapted from an classical preparation of the tetramincopper(II) sulfate.
Also, the compound can be prepared from nickel(II) chloride hexahydrate and excess of aqueous ammonia, and precipited in iced solution, by addition of ammonium chloride. T
this procedure is well described in a classical book of Experimental Inorganic Chemistry:

Hexamminenickel(II) Chloride Synthesis
Dr. Federman has given nicely the preparation of hexamminenickel(II) chloride preparation. If there is a problem in crystallization, replace chloride by percholorate, triflate, BPh4 or PF6 so that you can nice crystals.
Here it is. It is a checked and ued procedure by me. Dissolving Ni(NH3)6Cl2 in water nd adding concd. NaXO4 salts (X=Mn, Cl), or NaBF4 gave the appropriate Ni(NH3)6(XO4)2 or Ni(NH3)6(BF4)2 complexes. You can check the papers of prof. Edward Mikuli ion researchgate to find similar complexes, or I have some old german paper about preparation of similar complexes if you need.
