Several nanofertilizers are in developing stage/developed for their use in agriculture.It has been highlighted that the nanofertilizers, because of their nano size can enter into animal and human systems apart from plant system and cause toxicity/health related problems.Has any body developed safety protocols for use of nanofertizers?Have they been approved by any govt. agency? This is important before introducing nanofertilizers under farmers field conditions.

Shall I presume that no nanofertilizer developed with full safety criteria? Even if it is developed it is not released for use by the farmers. I am still not aware of any Govt. initiave to develop and approve the safety criteria for use of nanofertilizer.
