I want to implement entropy-alpha polarimetric decomposition for dual-polarisation data (in MATLAB). I have my own data (not images) and I cannot use the SAR based tools for my purpose.
Is there any end to end derivation (and/or code/pseudocode) for this or other scattering matrix decompositions?
My data is in the form of (TX=Vertical Polarization and RX= Vertical and Horizontal Polarization).

If your data is space-borne, then you could PolSARpro software for implementing dual polarized decomposition (very easy way).
Since your question inquires about possibility of doing the same in MATLAB, then you got to write your own code with the base paper for dual polarized H-Alpha decomposition -https://earth.esa.int/workshops/polinsar2007/papers/75_cloude.pdf or
in another paper ( doi:10.3390/rs70607447 ).

Scattering Mechanism Extraction by a Modified Cloude-Pottier Decomposition for Dual Polarization SAR.
Validation of the algorithm : It depends on what land feature that you are interested. For example, water would show mostly surface scattering (see for corresponding alpha values), if you get alpha values within the range, then the algorithm works good.

The dual pol mode you have specified does NOT count as polarimetric SAR data as the relative phase (b/w V & H channels) is not available. You cannot use any decomposition methods for working with VV and VH magnitudes.
Sriram Saran Bhiravarasu , I did not get you answer exactly. If you check this paper, it shows that decomposition can be done on this data. My matrix would be as in equation (2).

Muneeba Raja Apologies for my late reply. Several studies based on target classification indicate that the phase differences between co-polarization terms (e.g. HH or VV) and cross-polarization terms (e.g. HV or VH) are not as important as that between HH and VV (i.e for the case of a fully polarimetric SAR) , because co-polarization and cross-polarization terms are generally uncorrelated in distributed targets. As Mohamed Musthafa pointed out, the dual-pol Entropy-Alpha method (referred to as H2α by Cloude in his paper : https://earth.esa.int/workshops/polinsar2007/papers/75_cloude.pdf) might work from some surfaces.
