My specialization is teaching seniors and the idea of the university, I am trying to find articles and materials about U3A, which are very popular in Poland or about others forms of teaching seniors. It would be very interesting to me compare the Polish universities of the third age to other forms of teaching of seniors.
In Israel a common model is Community centres. These centres propose a variety of courses that specifically turn to seniors populations. There are courses related to sports, tourism and crafts, but there also are more academic-oriented courses such as languages and computers. Since Israel is a country with a considerable proportion of immigrants a course of Hebrew is one of the common ones.
