The most widely used parameter for biogeochemical modelling of radionuclides in soils is arguably the Kd. The use of some sort of Kd (e.g. kinetic, parameterized, one-point-Kd) is only possible when the linearity of sorption-desorption processes is believed to be true (e.g. very low radionuclide concentration). Is there any computational codes or models that considers situations where such linearity is not met? In other words: are there any codes that implement equations as Langmuir and Freundlich for predicting pollutant behaviour in soil systems?
