I want to check the working of an object detection system on aerial or Mars data. Satellite images are not good for detection purposes therefore I am looking for high-resolution aerial images.

The Caltech-256 object category dataset has 30,607 images. Such a dataset would be useful (on a large scale) in classifying Martian objects. See the amazing taxonomy of this dataset in Fig. 6 on page 6.
