Mostly small specialist or locally focused Scopus indexed journals that have high standards but limited circulations and, often, rather irregular publishing schedules causing no IF. The Journals indexed in Scopus and ESCI and don’t have impact factors are also placed in the category of peer reviewed or refereed journal. All SCI (Science Citation Index) Journals strictly follow above mentioned editorial process and therefore people in Universities or institutions prefer articles published in SCI journal.
