I want to use a differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) equipment, in an isothermal way by setting a constant temperature of operation and then recording the heat evolution of a cement paste formulation.

Do these results will be equivalent of using one of the common isothermal calorimetry equipment? I do not find information about using this isothermal DSC approach for OPC formulations, but I assume that it is because the isothermal calorimeters are quite more commonly to find than the DSCs.

Thanks for your comments.
