What programs, applications, would you recommend to work on your computer and why? I am not talking about the name of a specific company (brand) to avoid being accused of surreptitious advertising, but about the specification of an IT tool that, in your opinion, enables good data analysis and a tool that you perceive as future-oriented for the work of an economist a macro and micro data analyst. What tool with what device (computer) makes a good analytical set? I believe that investments in IT applications, regardless of what our university has installed on computers, are an important part of our individual choices and work with data. I also think that the tools we choose ourselves and learn to use them well at work, affect the final results of our analytical projects. What's your opinion?

The R studio application seems to be a prospective tool not only because of open access, but also because of its continuous development and use by the headquarters of large international corporations. On which computer do you advise to install and use this data analysis program?
thanks Dr. Gyan Chandra Chauthwani for the recommendation. I have not had the opportunity to learn about the use of MATLAB & ORIGIN in any project anywhere. I usually analyze files with the number of 30-50 thousand records on prices, product sales (sometimes several hundred different types - product options) and costs related to the production and distribution of goods in MS Excel on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, but I am not satisfied with the operation of this program. If you consider MATLAB, in what configuration should such an application be purchased and used at work? On what device (with what parameters?) will this IT analytical environment work optimally?
I use mostly the program PAST or CAP making it possible to use the multivariate methods as the usual descriptive statistics.
