Do research projects aimed at developing innovative technologies in your countries are mainly conducted and financed by the private or public sector, or are the forms of public-private partnerships or other more social forms dominating?

Research projects aimed at developing innovative technologies are conducted and financed in individual countries mainly by the private sector or by the public sector, or possibly dominate forms of public-private partnership in this area.

Can specific sources of financing, e.g. private or public, determine the different nature of research projects carried out?

Do research projects financed by private sector entities, by corporations interested in the development of specific technologies, differ in key aspects from those financed by the state, government or local, self-government public institutions?

Or maybe there are also new, social sources of funding for specific research projects in your countries that are neither strictly private nor public because of their social nature.

An example can be crowdfunding as a form of financing various types of projects by the community, which is or will be organized around these projects.

In view of the above, please answer the question: Do research projects in your countries aiming at developing innovative technologies are mainly conducted and financed by the private or public sector, or maybe dominate forms of public-private partnership or other more social forms in this area?

Please, answer, comments. I invite you to the discussion.
