I have a passion for writing research papers and have written many. However, I do not know how to get some benefit to my career out of it. I have so far written papers purely as a hobby. How can I make better use of my research? Thanks in advance.
Absolutely useful for your career.... It depends on your field....but I use my published research papers all the time when reaching out to New Audiences..... if being considered as a Speaker.. will send a copy of recent research as a way of Introduction.... I use them as ways to reach out and find folks doing similar research in my particular area... ie At the moment topic is Sexual Violence in the Workplace.... And I also find various Distribution lists via Professional Associations & colleagues to distribute new papers..... Good Luck!
